The ambition of Strategy 2030 in this pillar is to implement humanitarian education and raise readiness to act in crisis situations within Polish society, as well as to increase the capabilities of the Polish Red Cross for rapid response and large-scale assistance. We provide help to victims in situations of natural disasters and catastrophes occurring around the world. We organize educational campaigns related to preparing society for appropriate behaviors in crisis situations and search for missing persons.

The Polish Red Cross provides support to victims of natural disasters, camps and humanitarian crises in Poland and around the world. Thanks to specialized volunteers and modern equipment, we are ready to respond immediately. The Polish Red Cross Humanitarian Aid System is hundreds of thousands of people supported and effective actions in the most demanding situations.

Providing assistance and rescuing people and property during emergencies, catastrophes or natural disasters is one of the main activities of the Polish Red Cross.

The National Bureau of Information and Tracing of the Polish Red Cross has been operating continuously since 1919. The activities of the National Bureau of Information and Tracing result from the Geneva Conventions on the Protection of Victims of War of 12 August 1949 and the Additional Protocols to these Conventions of 8 June 1977 and 8 December 2005.

We introduce the subject of regulations binding soldiers and civilians during armed conflict. We run a specialist library containing the largest collection of publications in Poland related to international humanitarian law (IHL)

The mission of the Polish Red Cross is to prevent human suffering and alleviate its effects, as well as to protect human dignity, without any discrimination based on nationality, race, gender, religious beliefs, or political views.

PCK educational programs shape pro-social attitudes, promote a healthy lifestyle and develop rescue skills. Thanks to workshops and practical exercises, participants gain knowledge in the field of health, safety and environmental protection.

Voluntary blood donation is an initiative that increases the number of donors and social awareness, providing blood to those in need.

For years, we have been continuously training and preparing the public to effectively provide help in emergencies through first aid courses conducted by instructors of the Polish Red Cross.
