About the project
The educational programs of the Polish Red Cross are a comprehensive initiative aimed at children, youth and adults, the aim of which is to build a healthy, conscious and responsible society. The project combines education with practical activities, promoting a healthy lifestyle, first aid training and the development of social competences such as empathy, cooperation and care for others. Thanks to cooperation with educational institutions and the support of instructors and volunteers, participants gain knowledge and practical skills useful in everyday life and crisis situations.
Need
In the face of contemporary challenges, such as a lack of knowledge about first aid principles, the need to promote a healthy lifestyle, and to cultivate pro-social attitudes, it becomes crucial to undertake educational actions from an early age. It is essential to develop skills of cooperation, empathy, and responsibility, so that young generations are well-prepared to assist others and to take care of their own health and safety as well as that of their surroundings.
How do we help?

Promotion of a healthy lifestyle

Practical exercises using modern materials.
Activity of PCK Circles and Clubs
Activation of children and youth in the Squirrel Clubs, School and Academic PCK Circles, as well as in Social Groups of Youth Instructors.
The promotion of honorary blood donation
Blood collection drives, through which nearly 100,000 liters of blood are collected each year.
