The Common Strategy 2030 is based on 3 pillars of action: preparedness for crisis situations, actions for health and prevention, and activating society and reducing social inequalities.

Active response of PCK to changing health challenges. We see the need to improve the psychophysical condition of Polish society through social actions, mobilization of partners, and the development of new forms of activity.

Support for children and youth: Ensuring a joyful childhood and adolescence for as many children and youth as possible in Poland. Leveling the playing field and developing sensitivity and community spirit in the spirit of the principles of PCK. Activation of seniors: Ensuring a good quality of life for elderly people, not only through direct material assistance but also through activation. Activating society and reducing social inequalities

The cluster groups projects from a given thematic area, enabling more effective management of their implementation at the organizational level. It also serves as a kind of competency center, establishing action standards for the respective group of projects. Additionally, several projects have been identified that, as of today, do not fall under any of the 9 clusters, but due to their importance, will continue to be implemented. This includes, among others, the activities of the National Information and Search Bureau of the Polish Red Cross (including the Restoring Family Links program) and, in today's context, climate education, which is crucial.

Humanitarian aid in the Polish Red Cross is handled by the Humanitarian Aid System. This is a structure analogous to the PCK Rescue System. Both systems have their set of standards and procedures that ensure smooth functioning in all phases: preparatory, crisis response, and long-term assistance.

The PCK Rescue Groups associated with the Rescue System are an important partner for public services operating in this area. PCK rescuers are prepared to conduct operations both domestically and abroad. The efficient functioning of the system is ensured by internal processes regulating, among others, recruitment, training, and the enhancement of competencies.

The Polish Red Cross is an advocate and initiator of universal humanitarian education. This education should be the domain of a civil society, open and free from prejudice – in accordance with the principles of the Red Cross. The Polish Red Cross has attractive, original educational programs designed for all age groups.

The Polish Red Cross is the main promoter of the idea of voluntary blood donation. These activities are directed by the PRC to all Poles, with particular emphasis on youth and women. The organization takes care to honor deserving blood donors, including record holders.

The Polish Red Cross focuses on promoting and disseminating appropriate health-conscious attitudes and habits. It has large educational and preventive programs aimed at various target groups (mainly children and youth). It recognizes new challenges in the area of health problems in Polish society.

Young people are the driving force of the Polish Red Cross: they are the target of many activities of the Association, the implementers of programs and initiatives, and a "nursery of staff" – knowledge and values are passed down from generation to generation through young people. The basic organizational units of the Youth Movement of the Polish Red Cross are circles and clubs. Leaders of this environment are united in groups of Social Youth Instructors (SIM PCK).

The recipients of PCK's activities in the field of social assistance are individuals at risk of marginalization, exclusion, inheritance of poverty, and degenerating chances. A significant group consists of children and elderly people. The association has its own logistical support (including: dining facilities, shelters, bathhouses, emergency storage). It is a partner of local and government authorities in creating social policies and assistance programs.

The Polish Red Cross operates its own care facilities, including assistance centers, day care homes, and community centers. They enable the effective implementation of care activities. Additionally, the Polish Red Cross is a facilitator of national and regional programs that respond to the needs of the local community. The Polish Red Cross also has its own training system for staff in the field of care activities.

An inseparable element of implementing the Strategy is the parallel restructuring of the organization so that the Polish Red Cross can effectively conduct its activities. We know what we want to do, and at the same time, we know how we want to do it. The Strategy is developed with a perspective to 2030. We have established a mechanism for monitoring its implementation, which includes annual reports and evaluations, as well as a mid-term analysis of its implementation in 2025. We also anticipate periodic analyses of the external and internal environment, which may result in updates or clarifications of the assumptions. For generations, people in the Polish Red Cross have been able to fulfill the need to support those in need. In order for the implementation of the Polish Red Cross Strategy 2030 to yield the expected results, comprehensive action on many levels is necessary. Only through the simultaneous implementation of the Strategy and changes within the organization itself can the Polish Red Cross hope to become a leading non-governmental organization in the coming years, responding even more effectively to the needs of society. We invite everyone who wants to join us in writing a new chapter in the history of the Polish Red Cross, to participate in addressing humanitarian challenges.
