On May 8, we celebrated World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day – a holiday for those who provide help and support to those in need every day. This year's slogan 'United in Humanity' reminds us how important solidarity, empathy, and readiness to act for others are. The Polish Red Cross has been supporting people in difficult situations for over 100 years, responding to both daily needs and moments of crisis.

On this occasion, we were surprised by a special event prepared by the Senior Club of the Polish Red Cross run by the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Humanitarian Aid Group of the Polish Red Cross. There were warm words, beautiful gifts made with heart, and a phenomenal performance by a young artist, who we predict a bright future for even today.

The Red Cross Day is also a good moment to show who is on the other side of help in the Kujawsko-Pomorskie District Branch of the Polish Red Cross. These are employees, volunteers, and members who engage every day in actions for others.

Therefore, we decided to prepare a small, amateur photo session inspired by the popular trend of 'in boxes' photography. In this way, we wanted to showcase the people of the Polish Red Cross – with smiles, distance, and a huge heart for helping.
