We have completed another stage of the Health Olympiad organized by the Polish Red Cross in collaboration with the Biedronka chain. The event gathered students who eagerly and passionately took on the challenge of testing their knowledge and skills in health promotion.

The competition consisted of two challenging parts. In the first part, participants prepared original projects dedicated to health topics, demonstrating not only strong substantive preparation but also creativity and an original approach to the subject. The second part was a knowledge test that allowed them to verify the extent of their competencies. The final score was the sum of the points earned in both parts.

In the primary school category, six students competed. The high and even level made it necessary to conduct a tiebreaker to determine the winner. The podium included:

  • 1st place – Jakub Rydlewski (School Complex in Łabiszyn)

  • 2nd place – Maja Szadkowska (Primary School No. 5 Integrative named after the Gray Ranks in Włocławek)

  • 3rd place – Wiktoria Smolińska (Primary School No. 1 named after Polish Nobelists in Więcbork)

In the post-primary school category, eight participants took part. The best results were achieved by:

  • 1st place – Patrycja Sarecka (I General Secondary School named after Cyprian Kamil Norwid in Bydgoszcz)

  • 2nd place – Lena Karabasz (I General Secondary School named after the Śniadecki Brothers in Żnin)

  • 3rd place – Jakub Belica (School Complex RCKU in Przemystka)

Sincere thanks go to the members of the competition committee for their time and commitment, as well as to the teachers and guardians who prepared the students for participation in the Olympiad. Their support and contributions were crucial to the results achieved.

Congratulations to all participants – they presented a high level of knowledge and genuine interest in health topics.
