The ability to provide first aid from a young age is extremely important, so that in the future children can effectively respond in life-threatening and health-threatening situations. Lack of knowledge and skills in this area can lead to helplessness in crisis moments. The program addresses the need to develop attitudes of responsibility, courage, and the ability to react quickly in children, which enhances social safety.

The &ldquo;Lifeguards&rdquo; program is an educational initiative of the Polish Red Cross, the aim of which is to teach the basic principles of first aid in an accessible and attractive way. Aimed at preschool and school-age children, the program uses the character of the Lifeguard &ndash; a friendly hero who introduces the youngest to the world of saving lives through stories, educational materials and practical exercises.

The program teaches children a healthy lifestyle, first aid and safety, developing empathy and responsibility. It is an investment in a safe and conscious future for the youngest.
