“Polish with a Twist” in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski

Last Saturday at the PCK Integration and Education Center in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski, the next classes from the series “Polish with a Smile” took place. This time, the meeting had a particularly warm and family-oriented character. Children learned new letters of the alphabet and learned about important holidays celebrated in May in Poland.

One of the topics was the upcoming celebration of Mother’s Day, which falls on May 26. Although there is still some time until this special day, the youngest participants of the classes have already started preparations – carefully creating portraits of their moms.

Classes within the “Polish with a Smile” program combine language learning with play, integration, and strengthening family ties. Thanks to such initiatives, children, especially from refugee and migrant families, can better understand Polish culture and traditions, as well as develop their language skills in a safe and friendly environment.

Meetings are held regularly and are very popular. They are not only an opportunity for learning but also for celebrating together and building a local community.
