In an expert group, we shared experiences and good practices. Representatives of the Red Cross participated in the conference "Civil Society as a Factor of Resilience and Preparedness for Crisis Phenomena in Contemporary EU. Experiences and Challenges".

The event organized in Gdańsk was dedicated to the role of civil society in building the European Union's resilience to crisis situations. Experts, representatives of non-governmental organizations, and public administration participated in the conference, sharing their experiences and good practices in the areas of:
the response of civil society to crisis phenomena,
intersectoral cooperation,
crisis management and building social resilience,
cross-border civic cooperation.
The conference saw a large representation from the Red Cross: the International Committee of the Red Cross, the Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, and the Polish Red Cross. Our representatives spoke, among other things, about conducting actions in crisis situations and preparing for crises.

The Polish Red Cross also set up a humanitarian town, where we showcased the capabilities of our rescue and humanitarian aid groups, which was visited by Minister Marek Krawczyk.
