For the 24th time, we have launched the nationwide campaign "Gold Fever PCK."
One of the statutory activities of the Polish Red Cross is educational and caregiving activities aimed at children and youth. PCK conducts educational campaigns, child nutrition initiatives in educational institutions, community centers, canteens, organizes summer holidays, and provides school supplies to children and youth from low-income families. To carry out these activities, the Polish Red Cross raises financial resources from targeted grants from institutions and legal entities, as well as through fundraising events. One of such fundraising events is the nationwide campaign "Gold Fever PCK".
,"Gold Fever PCK" involves the collection of "gold" coins in denominations of 1, 2, and 5 groszy. As part of the campaign, street collections, collections in shops, schools, kindergartens, and companies are conducted. The amount collected during the campaign supports assistance for children and youth, including among others:
acquisition of funds for educational support;
acquisition of funds for recreation;
acquisition of funds for subsidizing warm meals;
activating and sensitizing society to the suffering of others;
promotion of the idea of volunteering among residents.
The campaign will last until May 23, 2025. Prizes are planned for the most engaged participants in the categories: kindergartens, schools, institutions, and private individuals.
Since the beginning of the "Gold Fever PCK" campaign, it has already been possible to collect over 3 million złoty, which proves that even the smallest gestures have great power.
We encourage everyone to participate in the campaign and to join in helping the children in need. Every little bit matters!
