Your 1.5% tax – a small gesture that changes lives
Every year, Poles face the decision of who to give 1.5% of their tax to. While it may seem like a small amount, it actually has huge significance. Thanks to the support of thousands of donors, the Polish Red Cross can provide help where it is most needed. Why is it worth giving your 1.5% tax to us?

Here are a few reasons that will convince you that this small gesture can have great power
You help where the need is greatest
For over 100 years, the Polish Red Cross has been working for those in need, responding to crises, supporting the elderly, children, and those who have found themselves in difficult life situations. In 2023, thanks to funds from 1.5% of taxes, we were able to provide humanitarian aid to thousands of people in Poland and respond to the effects of natural disasters. Together with our donors, we were able to deliver food packages, hygiene products, and financial support to those who lost their homes.
Your help reaches specific people
Not everyone realizes how much good can be done by donating 1.5% of their tax. Thanks to your decision, we can:
Provide assistance to seniors and lonely individuals – in 2023, we distributed over 4,300 holiday packages for elderly and lonely people who could feel that someone remembers them.
Support children in education and development – thousands of children received school supplies and the opportunity to participate in summer camps organized by the Polish Red Cross.
Provide assistance to victims of disasters and natural catastrophes – our intervention teams were on the ground wherever help was needed.
Take care of health and safety – we conduct first aid courses, educating youth and adults on how to respond in life-threatening situations.
It costs nothing, but it means so much
Donating 1.5% of your tax entails no additional costs for you. It's part of the tax you have to pay anyway. If you don't specify an organization, these funds will go to the state budget. By choosing the Polish Red Cross, you can be sure that your 1.5% will be allocated to real help.
