Final of the XXXI Health Olympics

On May 25-26, the final of the XXXI National Health Olympiad of the Polish Red Cross with Biedronka took place.

Student Hanna Przydacz from Primary School No. 3 in Koszalin and Maciej Majchrzak from I High School in Szczecinek, as winners of the district eliminations, represented the West Pomeranian Voivodeship at the final of the XXXI National Health Olympiad of the Polish Red Cross at the national level.


The main theme this year is “Healthy diet and movement.” During the final, participants took a test consisting of 100 questions. Works prepared by the participants describing health-promoting actions related thematically to health promotion that students conducted at school or in their local community were also evaluated by the judging panel of the Olympiad.


The total number of points achieved in the assessment for the test and descriptive work determined the victory and the subsequent places in the competition's ranking.


I. Hanna Przydacz student of Primary School No. 3 in Koszalin – took ninth place in the category of primary schools;


II. Maciej Majchrzak student of I High School in Szczecinek – took third place in the category of secondary schools.

The commencement of the next XXXII edition of the Olympiad is planned to start at the school stage in November 2024.
