XXX Regional Championship of First Aid of the Polish Red Cross

This year's Championship was held underHonorary Patronage:

Six teams from the West Pomeranian Voivodeship participated in the Championship, representing Drawsko Pomorskie, Gryfin, Kołobrzeg, Koszalin, Stargard, and Szczecin.

The most important prize for which the teams competed was participation in the central stage of the National Championship of First Aid PCK, which will take place in Lublin on June 8-9 this year.

The teams had to go through 5 simulated stations, where they had to demonstrate practical knowledge. Each team also had to solve a test consisting of 21 questions.

The rescue teams placed in the following positions:

1st place –Catholic Secondary School named after M. M. Kolbe in Szczecin

2nd place. – The Secondary School Team in Gryfin

3rd place. – II Secondary School named after W. Broniewski in Koszalin

4th place. – I Bilingual Secondary School named after M. Kopernik in Kołobrzeg

5th place.  – Secondary School named after the 1st Army of the Polish Army in Drawsko Pomorskie

6th place.  – The School Team named after Mieszko I in Stargard

 
During the central stage of the PCK First Aid Championship in Lublin, the West Pomeranian Voivodeship will be represented by the team from the Catholic Secondary School named after M. M. Kolbe in Szczecin.

 
The XXX District Championship of First Aid of the Polish Red Cross was co-financed from the funds of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship.

The invaluable organizational support was demonstrated by the Honorary Committee for the Championships, consisting of representatives from the following institutions: the West Pomeranian Voivodeship Office, the Marshal's Office of the West Pomeranian Voivodeship, the West Pomeranian Education Authority, the City Hall of Szczecin, the Voivodeship Police Headquarters, and the Voivodeship Fire Brigade Headquarters. We sincerely thank you for your generous support and for providing wonderful prizes.

For help in organizing the Championship,we express our sincere thanks  to the First Aid Instructors of PCK, medical rescuers from the Voivodeship Ambulance Service, firefighters from OSP “Raffer”, youth from II Secondary School in Koszalin, seniors from the Senior Plus Club, ladies from the Integration Center for Refugees from Ukraine, who were the actors and liaisons.

We also thank all local media participating in our event.
