On Saturday, June 27, 2026, the Polish Red Cross invites you to outdoor Integration Picnics. "Day of Good Encounters" will be organized in seven cities: Bydgoszcz, Gdańsk, Lublin, Łódź, Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski, Warsaw, and Wrocław.
The Integration Picnics of the PCK will be a space for meetings and building relationships between local residents, people with migration experiences, families, youth, and seniors.
The "Day of Good Encounters" is an opportunity to get to know each other and spend time together. Through education, integration, and family activities, we want to create a space where everyone can feel part of the local community and find the support needed for independent functioning and active participation in social life.
During the events, participants will be able to learn about the daily activities of the Polish Red Cross and the actions carried out by PCK groups and volunteers. All picnics will feature booths showcasing projects implemented by the Polish Red Cross and information points where you can learn everything about the "Together to Independence" project - activities within its framework and planned new activities.
Participants can also expect numerous recreational and educational attractions, including: creative workshops, outdoor physical activities, field games and animations, competitions with prizes, rest and refreshment areas, and presentations of uniformed services.
The event is organized as part of the "Together to Independence" project, implemented by the Ministry of the Interior and Administration and the Polish Red Cross, funded by the European Union within the Asylum, Migration and Integration Fund 2021-2027 and from the state budget. The aim of the project is to support integration, social activation, and independence of individuals building their lives in Poland. The event is open and free of charge and is part of a nationwide initiative of the Polish Red Cross that is being implemented simultaneously in many regions of the country.
The "Day of Good Encounters" picnics are open to all residents: families with children, seniors, volunteers, supporters of the PCK, project participants, and those interested in the organization's activities. Entrance is free.
DAY OF GOOD ENCOUNTERS IN BYDGOSZCZ
Hours: 10:00–14:00
Location: Combatants Street in the Kapuściska housing estate, Bydgoszcz
Program:
PCK WdN booth, showcasing the organization's activities, consultations with a career counselor, consultations with integration assistants regarding residency legalization;
GPH booth with a presentation of an evacuation backpack combined with workshops, during which participants will learn about the equipment and how to prepare for crisis situations;
Presentation of a fire truck with the opportunity to learn about the firefighters' work;
Presentation of an ambulance, a first aid demonstration, and practical exercises for children and adults;
Presentation of a police car and an information point dedicated to safety and prevention;
Children's corner with attractions for the youngest participants of the event;
Workshops with uniformed services, after which participants will receive "Safe Holidays Master" diplomas;
Gastronomic zone with savory and sweet snacks;
Picnic zone – a space for rest, relaxation, and integration.

Location: Wita Stwosza Street 23, Gdańsk

DAY OF GOOD ENCOUNTERS IN ŁÓDŹ
Hours: 10:00–15:00
Location: City Cultural Zone – Art Center, MSK Polesie, Krzemieniecka St. 2A, Łódź
Program:
-Safety and first aid: learning first aid and CPR on mannequins, demonstrations of evacuation backpacks, first aid for animals, and a meeting with the Municipal Guard.
Attractions for children: animations, games and sports activities, face painting, soap bubbles, joint creation of a self-portrait gallery "Draw Yourself."
My Emotions Garden - a game developing the ability to recognize emotions through movement, art, and collaboration.
Creative zone - making badges with the picnic slogan, the possibility to design your own PIN.
Support and integration area: talks with a psychologist, support for parents and guardians, quiet zone for children.
Advice and information: PCK information booth, information about residency legalization, consumer rights, and expert advice from the Trade Inspection.

Consultation point for the "Together to Independence" project – information about the project and support in submitting CUKR applications for Ukrainian citizens.
First aid demonstrations – practical tips on how to save a life in emergency situations.
Demonstrations from medical rescue – presentations of rescuers' actions during road incidents.
Handicraft workshops: sand painting, stone painting, bag painting, making bookmarks

Gastronomic zone with grill catering and a place for socializing.
Animation zone for children - games, activities, competitions, and physical activities led by animators. Participants will have the opportunity to win small gifts and prizes.
Educational zone - first aid demonstrations and practical exercises for children and adults. Educational games related to emergency numbers and safety rules.
PCK information booth showcasing the organization's activities, volunteering opportunities, and implemented projects.
Search Office booth of the PCK, where participants can learn about the unit's activities and obtain information about its functioning.
Senior Club booth promoting the social activity of seniors and initiatives implemented for the elderly.
Integration zone with family competitions engaging children and parents, aimed at building family bonds and fun together.

The final of the 33rd edition of the Polish Red Cross Health Olympiad with Biedronka is behind us.
During the three days of final competition, participants not only tested their knowledge but also presented their own social initiatives implemented in their schools and local communities. This year, special emphasis was placed on youth mental health, stress management, building well-being, and mutual support.
