Blood Donation Action at ZSLIE No. 1

On 05.11.2024, an exceptional blood donation event took place at our school under the motto 'To the Rescue'. The students of our school responded en masse to the call and donated blood, which was urgently needed to save the health and life of Kacper, a student from a partner high school, who is a peer of our students.
We thank everyone who participated in this noble initiative. Your help is invaluable and can save a life. We are proud of our school community for the support and solidarity shown. A total of 55 students and teachers from our school responded to the blood donation appeal. Almost 14 liters of blood were collected.
The blood donation event was accompanied by the registration of bone marrow donors from the DKMS foundation.

About blood donation at SP 380
From November 25 to December 4, 2024, at Primary School No. 380, named after John Paul II in Warsaw, at Krasiczyńska 4/6, workshops on blood donation were held, led by Mr. Adrian Szydlik, a member of the HDK PCK "DREWNICA" Club and a teacher from this educational institution. The workshops were aimed at students from grades 1-3 and 4-6.

On the days 24.10 – 04.11, lectures on blood donation took place at our school. During these meetings, students had the opportunity to learn about the importance of donating blood and how to prepare for it.

On November 30th, at the headquarters of the Masovian District of the PCK, an Andrzejki meeting took place, organized by the PCK Volunteer Care Corps for its charges – Soldiers of the Warsaw Uprising.

HDK Days in Kozienice
A ceremonial atmosphere, awards, and thanks for the gift of life – this was the 2024 celebration of the Honorary Blood Donors Day of the Polish Red Cross (PCK) in Kozienice, which took place on November 22, 2024. The event was organized by the Regional Branch of the Polish Red Cross in Kozienice and the Club of Honorary Blood Donors at Enea Wytwarzanie.
