A ceremonial atmosphere, awards, and thanks for the gift of life – this was the 2024 celebration of the Honorary Blood Donors Day of the Polish Red Cross (PCK) in Kozienice, which took place on November 22, 2024. The event was organized by the Regional Branch of the Polish Red Cross in Kozienice and the Club of Honorary Blood Donors at Enea Wytwarzanie.
The tradition of the celebrations, held annually between November 22 and 26, emphasizes the importance of voluntary blood donation for saving lives. This year's event brought together representatives of local government, local authorities, business partners, and – most importantly – honorary blood donors. It was an opportunity to present awards and congratulatory letters and to express gratitude for the willingness to share with others the only, priceless medicine, which is blood.
The gathered blood donors and invited guests were welcomed by the President of the PCK Regional Branch in Kozienice, Bogumiła Iskra, and the President of the Club of Honorary Blood Donors at Enea Wytwarzanie, Krzysztof Baran.

Special thanks from President Mikołajczyk were addressed to Bogumiła Iskra and Anna Puzio from the Kozienice Regional Branch of PCK and to the volunteers working in the Kozienice Municipality.
The Chairman of the City Council, Krzysztof Zając, conveyed congratulations and thanks to the blood donors on behalf of himself and the Mayor of the Kozienice Municipality.
Expressions of appreciation were also given by representatives of Enea Wytwarzanie: Jacek Janas, Deputy President of the Management Board for Technical Affairs, Anna Wesołowska, Chairwoman of the Inter-Plant Trade Union of Shift Workers, and Dariusz Sadurski, Chairman of the Inter-Plant Trade Union of Energy Workers.
The event was partnered by Enea Wytwarzanie.
