Ceremonial meeting of blood donors and activists of the Polish Red Cross organized by the Regional Branch of PCK Warsaw South on the occasion of BLOOD DONOR DAYS 2024.
On the day 23rd of November 2024in the Conference Hall of PGNiG Termika S.A. a ceremony was held to honor the activists and blood donors of PCK operating within the structures of the Regional Branch Warsaw South
Course of the ceremony :
The participants listened to the PCK Anthem which is Song of the Red Cross.The authors are Irena Prusicka (words) Aleksander Rosłan (music). The Anthem was officially adopted by the IX National Congress of the Polish Red Cross on the 18th of November 1989.
A moment of silence was held in memory of blood donors who died recently, including the Presidents of the PCK HDK Clubs, late Jerzy Pustelnik /MZAiTW/ and late Jan Baczewski /PKP PLK Management/
Welcome of guests by the President of the Regional Branch of PCK Warsaw South Mr. Włodzimierz Warwas in the persons of:
Mrs. Magdalena Ejsmont City Guard Commander of the capital city of Warsaw
Mr. Rafał Miastowski Mayor of the Mokotów District / who has been a member of the PCK HDK Club in our Regional Branch for many years and has donated over 60 liters of blood/
Mr. Mariusz Malewicz member of the Main Board of PCK and simultaneously Chairman of the National Council of Honorary Blood Donation
Mr. Piotr Szklany member of the board of the Mazowieckie District and Regional Branch of PCK in Warsaw

The event was attended by 60 people.
During the event, all those honored received: wall calendars of PCK for 2024, pocket calendars, and pens with the logo 'Thanks to you I Live'.
Everyone had access to a cold buffet and beverages / ground and instant coffee, hot chocolate, tea, fruit juices, and mineral water and sweets / candies, bars, chocolate, cookies, chocolate wafers, etc./
For the youngest, 12 plush toys and 5 games with the theme of Ursus were distributed.
