HDK Days in Kozienice

The event was organized by the Regional Branch of the Polish Red Cross in Kozienice and the Club of Honorary Blood Donors at Enea Wytwarzanie.

The tradition of the celebrations, held annually between November 22 and 26, emphasizes the importance of voluntary blood donation for saving lives. This year's event gathered representatives of the local government, local authorities, business partners, and – most importantly – honorary blood donors. It was an opportunity to present awards and congratulatory letters and to express thanks for the willingness to share with Others the only, invaluable medicine, which is blood.

The gathered blood donors and invited guests were welcomed by the President of the Regional Branch of the PCK in Kozienice, Bogumiła Iskra, and the President of the Club of Honorary Blood Donors at Enea Wytwarzanie, Krzysztof Baran.

Particular thanks were directed by President Mikołajczyk to Bogumiła Iskra and Anna Puzio from the Kozienice Regional Branch of the PCK, as well as to the volunteers working in the Kozienice Municipality.

The Chairman of the City Council, Krzysztof Zając, conveyed congratulations and thanks to the blood donors on behalf of himself and the Mayor of the Kozienice Municipality.

Expressions of appreciation were also given by representatives of Enea Wytwarzanie, Jacek Janas, Vice President of the Management Board for Technical Affairs, Anna Wesołowska, Chairperson of the Inter-Company Trade Union of Shift Workers, and Dariusz Sadurski, Chairman of the Inter-Company Trade Union of Energetics.

The partner of the event was Enea Wytwarzanie.
