105th birthday is a commitment. It was a solemn and moving event full of memories and stories from life told by blood donors, volunteers, and employees of the Mazovian Branch of the Polish Red Cross. "Your work teaches us all empathy and care for others," wrote Renata Kaznowska, Deputy Mayor of the Capital City of Warsaw, in a letter to volunteers, employees, and those closely associated with the mission of the Red Cross.

On the occasion of the 105th birthday of the Polish Red Cross, around 100 people closely associated with the activities and mission of the Red Cross gathered at a solemn gala of the Mazovian District Branch of the PCK. On February 3, representatives of the government administration and local government, officials, and employees of the Polish Red Cross, volunteers, Honorary Blood Donors, supervisors of School PCK Circles, members of the PCK Rescue Group Warsaw, members of the Youth Social Instructors Group, and the Humanitarian Support Group appeared at the Kadr Cultural Center. Honorary guests included donors, thanks to whom it is possible to carry out the mission of the PCK in Mazovia.

Guests from all over Mazovia had the opportunity to meet and exchange experiences. The aim of the organizers was to appreciate the work of people whom they do not always have the opportunity to thank on a daily basis.

An important element of the ceremony was also a concert. Performers included Danuta Błażejczyk, Monika Urlik, Patrycja Woźniak, Ludwina Lufa Pol, and Yugine Grudzinski.

The gala was led by radio presenter Piotr Jaśkowiak, a volunteer and member of the PCK Humanitarian Support Group.
