Collect gold coins for children's holidays and win prizes.
The 23rd edition of the nationwide campaign "Gold Fever PCK" is starting. Traditionally, containers will appear in schools, kindergartens, and companies where you can drop "gold" coins of 1, 2, and 5 groszy denominations. The funds collected during the campaign are allocated to help children, subsidizing, among other things: summer recreation, warm meals in schools, school supplies, and educational aids.
"Gold Fever PCK" is one of the annual campaigns of the Polish Red Cross, aimed at supporting the most needy children. Since its inception, over 3 million zlotys have been collected. The campaign involves collecting "gold" coins of 1, 2, and 5 groszy denominations. As part of the campaign, collections are conducted in stores, schools, kindergartens, and companies. Thanks to the involvement of donors from across Poland, small coins turn into "tons of gold" that help the youngest, prevent social exclusion, and create a chance for a better start in adulthood. The funds collected during the campaign are allocated to help children, subsidizing, among other things: summer recreation, warm meals in schools, school supplies, and educational aids.
Do you want to join? Set up a large jar with a description for collecting coins in the office, store, bar, or at your child's facility and let us know at warszawa@pck.org.pl. You will receive graphics for printing and information on what to do with the collected money. Do not exchange them for "larger" denominations, as we weigh gold coins, and the best collectors will be awarded prizes.
Teaching subsequent generations the importance of selfless helping is one of the key activities of our Association. Every year, in hundreds of schools, kindergartens, as well as companies and institutions, there are throngs of "excited" people engaged in the coin collection campaign. We are glad that thanks to their support, we help the most needy
The "Gold Fever PCK" campaign also has an educational dimension. Through the campaign, PCK promotes the idea of volunteering – selfless help to others. Most volunteers in the "Gold Fever" are students helping their peers. It is this educational aspect – showing how a small gesture like collecting a handful of "gold coins" – has particular value. The campaign meets with great interest from schools and kindergartens every year.
We encourage everyone, big and small. Do you already know where in your school, kindergarten, store, office, or restaurant there will be a container for gold? Join the ranks of the "excited". Together, let's change the fate of needy children. Let's help together
The "Gold Fever PCK" campaign lasts until May 24, 2024.

105th Anniversary Gala of the Polish Red Cross
105th birthday is a commitment. It was a solemn and moving event full of memories and stories from life told by blood donors, volunteers, and employees of the Mazovian Branch of the Polish Red Cross. "Your work teaches us all empathy and care for others," wrote Renata Kaznowska, Deputy Mayor of the Capital City of Warsaw, in a letter to volunteers, employees, and those closely associated with the mission of the Red Cross.
