Conclusion of the European Food Aid Fund Program 2021-2027 Koszalin

The West Pomeranian District Branch of the Polish Red Cross in Szczecin, Regional Branch in Koszalin has completed the implementation of the European Funds for Food Aid Program 2021-2027 Subprogram 2023.


The program was co-financed by the European Social Fund Plus


As part of the program, 2611 people received food packages. These were beneficiaries from the City of Koszalin and the surrounding municipalities: Połczyn Zdrój, Polanów, Złocieniec, Brzeżno, Manowo, Wierzchowo, Sianów, Siemyśl, Sławno, Szczecinek, Świdwin.


W79,346 kg of food was issued.


For one person qualified to participate in the program, 1 food package was prepared, consisting of 16 food items planned for distribution in the Subprogram, totaling about 31 kg, including:

  1. Vegetable and fruit products – strawberry jam, peas with carrots,

  2. Dairy products – UHT milk,

  3. Fats – rapeseed oil,

  4. Sugars – white sugar

  5. Meat products – pork ham, poultry ham, pork pâté, sprats in oil,

  6. Starchy products – egg noodles spirals, wheat flour, butter cookies, oatmeal, barley groats, instant grain coffee.

  7. Ready meals – Breton-style beans.


The food packages contained products of Polish origin, high quality with a long shelf life.

People receiving food packages bore no costs related to this.
