Polish Red Cross is starting recruitment for the program “Together Towards Independence”
“Together Towards Independence” is a nationwide program dedicated to Ukrainian citizens under temporary protection in Poland and residing in collective accommodation centers. The activities offered under the Program aim to assist in achieving independence by leaving the centers, utilizing vocational counseling, and participating in integration and adaptation events.
The program “Together Towards Independence” is implemented by the Ministry of Interior and Administration (MSWiA) in partnership with the Polish Red Cross (PCK) and the Polish Center for International Aid (PCPM). It is funded by the European Union through the FAMI.02.SPECIFIC ACTIONS project, the Fund for Asylum, Migration and Integration 2021 - 2027 (90%) and the State budget (10%). The total cost of the project amounts to 93,499,172.60 PLN, of which the amount of funding from the European Union is 84,149,255.34 PLN.

“Together Towards Independence” (WdN) is a nationwide program aimed at Ukrainian citizens who are under temporary protection in Poland and reside in collective accommodation centers. The goal of the services offered under the Program is to assist in achieving independence by leaving the centers, attending professional consultations, and participating in integration and adaptation activities. The “Together Towards Independence” (WdN) program is implemented by the Ministry of Interior and Administration (MSWiA) in partnership with the Polish Red Cross (PCK) and the Polish Center for International Aid (PCPM). WHAT ARE THE ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA FOR THE PROGRAM? | ЯКІ КРИТЕРІЇ ВІДБОРУ ДО ПРОГРАМИ?
Individuals may apply to the Program if they have a valid PESEL number assigned with the status UKR and reside in collective accommodation centers in 9 provinces: Lower Silesia, Kuyavian-Pomeranian, Lublin, Lodz, Masovian, Opole, Subcarpathian, Pomeranian or Świętokrzyskie. In other provinces, the Program is implemented by the Polish Center for International Aid Foundation: www.pcpm.org.pl/wdn.

WHAT SUPPORT CAN YOU RECEIVE UNDER THE PROGRAM? | ЯКУ ПІДТРИМКУ ВИ МОЖЕТЕ ОТРИМАТИ В РАМКАХ ПРОГРАМИ?
Funding for the deposit and part of the rent for a residential unit (apartment or room) for six months and support in completing rental formalities.
Funding for relocation costs and a voucher for the purchase of equipment for the rented residential unit.
Support of a career advisor in job searching and developing possibilities on the Polish labor market.
Opportunity to participate in a Polish language course.
Access to integration and adaptation events.
Funding for the deposit and part of the rent for a residential unit (apartment or room) for six months, as well as support in resolving formalities related to renting.
Coverage of relocation expenses and a voucher for purchasing equipment for the rented residential unit.
Support from a professional consultant in job searching and developing opportunities on the Polish labor market.
Opportunity to participate in a Polish language course.
Opportunity to participate in integration and adaptation activities.
HOW TO APPLY FOR THE PROGRAM? | ЯК ПОДАТИ ЗАЯВКУ НА УЧАСТЬ У ПРОГРАМІ?
Before filling out the application form, familiarize yourself with the information about the Program and documents [documents to download].
Complete the application for participation in the Program via [Application Form].
The person filling out and submitting the application form will act as the sole representative of the household for all subsequent stages of the project.
The rental agreement submitted to the PCK will be recognized as valid only if it is concluded with the person who filled out and submitted the application form.
Regardless of the language version of the application form you choose, your answers to all OPEN questions must be provided in Polish – in uppercase printed letters.
Within 7 working days, we will contact you by phone to verify your application and inform you which documents we will need.
We will meet with you to verify the documents confirming eligibility criteria for participation in the Program.
After successful verification, you will be issued a certificate of acceptance into the Program.
From the moment of acceptance into the Program, you have 30 days to find a suitable residential unit and provide the signed rental agreement.
Once the Support Agreement is concluded, the funding will be transferred directly to the bank account of the owner of the residential unit.

You can. The Program is nationwide, however it is implemented by two non-governmental organizations: Polish Red Cross (PCK) and the Polish Center for International Aid Foundation (PCPM). Yes, however funding for rent is only available to those who meet the Program's criteria. The amount of funding for rent and the deposit will be proportionally reduced based on the number of people who are not Participants in the Program.

Yes, however the rental agreement must include a minimum set of provisions that can be found here [link]. Additionally, the tenant and landlord must sign a mandatory clause to the rental agreement.

The owner wants to sign the agreement in the middle of the month and first settle for those few days and then for the full months. The PCK provides funding only for full accounting periods - of equal length each. For example, if the contract is signed on April 15, the first funding will be from April 15 to May 14, the next from May 15 to June 14, and so on for the next four months.
