The Polish Red Cross is organizing a promotional and educational campaign entitled "In bonds of blood" on the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of the Warsaw Uprising, aimed at honoring the memory of the heroes of those days and supporting people in need of blood today.
The aim of the campaign, which lasts from August 1 to October 2, 2024, is:
to pay tribute to all fallen, deceased, and living Warsaw Uprising participants by donating blood honorably to save lives and health,
to promote the idea of voluntary blood donation,
to expand the group of honorary blood donors,·
to motivate blood donors to donate blood regularly, especially during the summer,
to promote voluntary blood donation on social media.
