The program "Share a Smile" at Municipal Kindergarten No. 8 in Toruń
Another kindergarten has joined the "Share a Smile" initiative. This time, the students of Municipal Kindergarten No. 8 learned the secrets of proper oral hygiene and dental care.
XII edition of the programThe "Share a Smile" program started with the new school year 2024/2025 and will last until April 30, 2025. In this edition, educational activities are planned to reach even 150,000 students from all over Poland.






Main objectives of the program:
Education for children: participants learn the principles of proper oral hygiene, healthy eating, and the importance of regular visits to the dentist.
Educational materials: schools and kindergartens participating in the program receive sets of materials, including workbooks, lesson plans, and multimedia presentations developed by experts.
Preventive measures: children receive hygiene packages containing, among others, sugar-free chewing gums that help protect against cavities.
In the XII edition of the Share a Smile Program, 15 kindergartens from Toruń and the Toruń district are participating.

The "Share a Smile" program is an initiative of the Polish Red Cross (PCK), implemented in collaboration with Wrigley Poland (currently part of Mars) and the Polish Dental Society. The program aims to improve oral health among school-age children and promote proper hygiene habits.
