Free training in the care of seniors and dependent individuals

PCK invites you to a free training Sister PCK
The Sister PCK course is a 100-hour preparation for the role of caregiver for the elderly and dependent individuals. Classes led by a nurse, doctor, psychologist, and social worker cover topics such as changes occurring in different organs, diagnosing patient needs, assisting the patient in bed, basic types of diets for various diseases, physiological needs of the patient and their satisfaction, personal hygiene of the patient, performing procedures prescribed by the doctor, storing and preparing medications, and methods of administering them through various routes, the social care system and social institutions, and professional groups providing medical, health, and social care in Poland. Each participant will also complete a 16-hour first aid course. The course is aimed at both individuals who have left Ukraine due to armed conflict and Poles.
The next two trainings are scheduled for9-12, 16-19, 23-26 May, 30 May - 2 June 2025.and3-6, 10-13, 17-20, 24-27 October 2025.
To participate in the course, you need to:
familiarize yourself with the Recruitment Regulations,
fill out the Application Form, sign the Information Clause on the processing of personal data, and the Consent for recording and disseminating the image (optional) - documents can be downloaded below and obtained at the office of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie District of the PCK.
sign the Agreement for participation in the training (within the time set with the employee of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie District of the PCK).

Classes conducted by a nurse, doctor, psychologist, and social worker cover topics such as changes in various systems of the body, diagnostics of patient needs, care for bedridden patients, main types of diets for various diseases, physiological needs of the patient and ways to satisfy them, personal hygiene of the patient, performing procedures prescribed by the doctor, storing and preparing medications and methods of their application, the social assistance system, and institutions and professional groups providing medical, health, and social assistance in Poland. Each participant will also complete a 16-hour first aid course. The course is aimed at both those who left Ukraine due to armed conflict and Poles.
The next two training courses are scheduled for9-12 May, 16-19 May, 23-26 May, 30 May - 2 June 2025and3-6 October, 10-13 October, 17-20 October, 24-27 October 2025..
To participate in the course, it is necessary to:
familiarize yourself with the Recruitment Regulations,
fill out the Application form, sign the Information clause on personal data and provide consent for their processing and use (optional) - documents can be downloaded below and obtained at the office of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Regional Branch of the Polish Red Cross,
sign a training contract (within the time specified with the employee of the Kujawsko-Pomorskie Regional Branch of the Polish Red Cross).
