As a result of arrangements with the State Fire Service, the Polish Red Cross (PCK) has been appointed for comprehensive coordination of humanitarian aid and medical support throughout the Stronie Śląskie municipality.
The situation is extremely difficult, especially in terms of sanitation and delivering aid to residents in hard-to-reach areas of the municipality. Currently, specialists from the Humanitarian Aid Groups and PCK Rescue Groups are conducting a detailed assessment on-site to tailor their actions as effectively as possible and deliver aid to those affected by the flood as quickly as possible. –
A convoy of the Polish Red Cross is currently arriving in the Stronie Śląskie municipality, containing specialists who specialize in coordinating humanitarian aid and medical rescue. The team, consisting of representatives from four PCK Rescue Groups and five Humanitarian Aid Groups, will be responsible for reorganizing the humanitarian aid distribution system to make it more efficient and effective.
In the coming hours, an assessment of medical needs is also planned in all localities of the municipality.
The coordination of medical support will include actions such as inventorying the medical personnel present in the area and coordinating the activities of rescuers, medical rescuers, and the PCK Rescue Group, to ensure assistance at the highest level.

The tragic situation in Stronie Śląskie requires coordinated support so that help can reach every person in need. Our goal is to streamline the distribution of humanitarian aid and identify the real needs of residents, so that we can provide help in exactly the form that the residents of the Stronie Śląskie municipality require, while precisely informing donors about what means and resources are most needed
We thank everyone who supports our actions and helps us deliver assistance where it is most urgently needed. Thanks to cooperation and solidarity, we can operate more effectively on behalf of those affected by the flood in the municipality. At this moment, the most important thing is to provide hygiene supplies, drinking water, and medical support. We thank you for every piece of support – only together can we effectively help those affected by the flood in Stronie Śląskie and the surrounding areas
