On June 28, the Reporting and Election Assembly of the Polish Red Cross took place. Delegates from all over Poland gathered to summarize the outgoing term, become familiar with the reports: programmatic-organizational and regarding the activities of the PCK Management Board in the years 2021-2025, as well as to elect new authorities of our organization.
One of the first points of the agenda was to award the title of Honorary Member of the PCK and to present awards for activities in the association. Then came the time for summaries and thanks for the outgoing authorities.
We have managed to accomplish a lot. I thank everyone for their engagement, for working to put our organization on a new track. We worked under conditions of crisis at the border with Belarus, we worked in conditions of armed conflict in Ukraine. All of this required a great deal of work at the level of individual districts.
As he emphasized, there are four very active years behind the Polish Red Cross, but many challenges lie ahead of the organization:
We must change the association, look for new ways of operating, so that we are better adapted to the demands that modernity places upon us.

Responsibility for the association will be taken by Zbigniew Klawczyński - it is he whom the delegates of the National Assembly entrusted, in a secret ballot, with the position of president.
I am glad that my predecessor, Jerzy Bisek, set the bar high.

He emphasized that he would try to connect all those who hold the ideas of the Red Cross dear:
We need to go down to talk to every Red Cross member, volunteer. That's where it is built, that's where the foundations are, that's where the enormous commitment is visible. But we also need to look up: to obtain funding, to collaborate, whether in the country or beyond its borders. I realize that it will be a difficult term, but I am ready for it.

Together with President Klawczyński, there will be individuals in the Management Board representing various pillars of PCK activities, including rescue, humanitarian aid, and blood donation. They are: Agnieszka Dziubińska - vice president; Jolanta Chełmińska, Michał Mikołajczyk, and Janusz Sibiński - members of the presidium; Jacek Fortuna, Agata Gajos, Marcin Kowalski, Zbigniew Morzycki, Paweł Pudło, Jakub Szabelski - members of the board.

The Polish Red Cross is preparing for 4 years of intensive work to operate even more effectively, quickly, and professionally for the sake of others, utilizing the experience we have, while simultaneously modernizing the association.
The National Assembly of the PCK is the highest governing body of the organization. It is not just a formal gathering - it is a forum where experience, commitment, and vision for the future come together. It is here that the direction is shaped in which the largest and oldest humanitarian organization in Poland will move.
