On Monday, July 29, residents of Kielce had the opportunity to participate in a free first aid training organized by the Świętokrzyski District Branch of the Polish Red Cross - PCK Kielce Rescue Group. The event took place at the Non-Governmental Organization Centre at 52 Wojska Polskiego Street and attracted people who want to be prepared to provide assistance in life-threatening situations.
The training was led by an experienced paramedic, Piotr Miernecki, a member of the PCK team. Participants gained knowledge and practical skills in the following areas:
cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR),
recognizing sudden cardiac arrest,
operating an automated external defibrillator (AED).
The organizers emphasize that knowledge of first aid principles is a key skill that can save lives - regardless of place and circumstances. In crisis situations, a quick and proper response matters, and every second counts.
The training was carried out as part of a project co-financed by the City of Kielce, which has long supported educational and preventive activities for residents.
We thank all participants for their presence, openness to learning, and active engagement!
