Blood donation in URSUS

The office supports the club's activities to promote the idea of voluntary blood donation, which is affiliated withthe Regional Division of Warsaw – South of the Polish Red Cross.

Another year of activity prompts reflections. This year,13blood donation events were organized. The events are very popular among the local community. This year, nearly600donors participated in all organized events, resulting in188,550 mlof blood. Thanks to the support of UD Ursus, donors always receive a small gift in gratitude for participating in the event. We also thank for the support ofFactory UrsusandESKOM. We organized the rescue event four times, meaning we were asked for help and directed the collection to a specific person urgently needing blood.

Organizing blood donation events is not the only activity of the club. Each year we participate in picnics organized by UD Ursus, not only promoting the idea of voluntary blood donation but also the skills of providing first aid, conducted by qualified PCK instructors.
