Blood Donation Festival in Karczew

The patronage over the ceremony was assumed by: Mayor of Karczew Mr. Michał Rudzki and Chairman of the City Council in Karczew Mr. Piotr Kwiatkowski.

Among the honorary guests were: Member of the Polish Parliament Mr. Piotr Kandyba, the Starost of the Otwock County Mr. Tomasz Laskus, Rev. Andrzej Sobczyk – the parish priest of St. Wita's parish in Karczew, Ms. Karolina Grzegrzółka represented the Mazovian Voivodeship Marshal's Office, Mrs. Iwona Bieńkowska represented the Natura i Kultura Local Action Group, and the local authorities, which were the main sponsors of the event, were represented by Mayor of Karczew Mr. Michał Rudzki.

The jubilee concert was opened by the Association of Music Enthusiasts Trio Concerto. The band was led by Mr. Krystian Adamkowski.

Among those honored by the Minister of Health with the Honorary Badge “For Merits in Health Protection” were:

Marek Gałązka, Damian Grzywacz, Dariusz Jurkiewicz, Krzysztof Sielski.
The Minister of Health also distinguished with the badge “Honorary Blood Donor Meritorious for the Health of the Nation” the following blood donors: Dariusz Jurkiewicz, Mikołaj Żmudziński, and Karol Łapiński.

By resolution of the Chapter of the Honorary Badge of the Polish Red Cross, the Honorary Badge PCK of the IV degree was awarded to

Dariusz Jurkiewicz.

The Main Board of the Polish Red Cross and the National Council of Honorary Blood Donation of the Polish Red Cross decided to honor the following institutions and individuals with a special medal:

The Chapter of the Commemorative Medal of the 20th Anniversary of Establishing St. Maximilian Maria Kolbe as the Patron of Honorary Blood Donors decided to honor the following individuals with this medal:

All Honorary Blood Donors, especially those honored, received congratulations and best wishes from Member of Parliament Mr. Piotr Kandyba, the Starost of Otwock County Mr. Tomasz Laskus, Mayor of Karczew Mr. Michał Rudzki. To the Karczew blood donors, a letter of congratulations and best wishes was sent by Mr. Mirosław Szymański, chairman of the Presidium of the Mazovian Regional Council of Honorary Blood Donation in Warsaw.

At the end of the meeting, Mr. Robert Prusiński performed a concert on the electronic accordion. Mr. Robert has been combining various musical styles in his work for several years, capturing the hearts of millions of fans. An excellent technique, acrobatic skills on the accordion. A virtuoso who knows what the stage means to him. A graduate of the State Music School of the 1st and 2nd degree. He concerts in the country and Europe, performing solo, with orchestras, and with well-known musical bands.
The event was led by the president of the Honorary Blood Donor Club in Karczew, Krzysztof Kasprzak.
