The International Day of Remembrance for Missing Persons, observed every year on August 30, is a good time to draw attention to one of the most painful problems of the modern world: the problem of people who go missing in armed conflicts, natural disasters, migration and in other circumstances.

In connection with the fire in a tenement house on Kraszewskiego Street in Poznań, rescuers from the Polish Red Cross went into action. They were on the scene almost from the beginning of the disaster, supporting the fire department and the ambulance service. The Polish Red Cross Wielkopolska launched its own point: a Red Cross tent was set up, where firefighters and victims receive meals, hot drinks and psychological first aid.

The home run in Ciechanów by the Polish Red Cross supports the local community every day. From caring for the sick and seniors, through supporting single mothers and children, to helping refugees from Ukraine. Comprehensive assistance for various groups is provided here with unwavering commitment. Thanks to the established cooperation between the Polish Red Cross and Procter & Gamble, this place will gain even greater opportunities to act for the benefit of all its charges.
