XXX Polish Red Cross First Aid Championships – regional stage

While walking today in the Źródliska Park, one could meet people who suffered various kinds of injuries – a fall from a ladder, poisoning, a fall from a swing, loss of consciousness, panic attack.
All thanks to the District Stage of the National First Aid Championships of the PCK. Teams from secondary schools in Łódź competed for the title of the best and the opportunity to represent Łódź during the regional stage of the Championships.
The task of the teams was to provide assistance at specially arranged stations. Despite the unfavorable weather, the youth managed to cope with the prepared tasks.
After several hours of competition, the winners were announced:
1st place – XXV LO in Łódź
2nd place – I LO in Łódź
3rd place – XXIII LO in Łódź
We thank the City Commissioner of the City Police Headquarters in Łódź (1st place), the City Commissioner of the State Fire Service Headquarters in Łódź (2nd place), the President of ZM ZOSP RP in Łódź (3rd place). The additional prize was funded by Municipal Guard in Łódź.
We thank for the visit at the Championships and the conversation with the contestants and our actors RMF FM.
The task was realized thanks to funding from the budget of the City of Łódź. The Championships were under the patronage of the Mayor of the City of Łódź and the Education Superintendent in Łódź.

On May 18, 2024, the provincial stage of the PCK First Aid Championships took place in Łódź, organized for the thirtieth time by the Polish Red Cross. Five teams from our province competed in the competition. They were prepared under the watchful eye of their guardians.
