The Polish Red Cross participated in the 13th National Conference of Local Government and Education, "Education of the Future." The event brought together 530 school principals and local government representatives from across Poland, providing an important platform for discussion about the future of education and the challenges facing local governments.

The 21st edition of the "Fiery Rescuer – Hot Blood" program is launching, promoting voluntary blood donation among firefighters of the State Fire Service and Volunteer Fire Brigades.

During Future Up! Fest 2026 in Łódź, Dr. Magdalena Stefańska, Head of the International Cooperation Department, took part in the panel "Humanitarian missions – their strength, their pressure". The discussion covered the realities of humanitarian work, crisis response, and the competencies needed to provide aid in various parts of the world.

The humanitarian situation in the Middle East is rapidly deteriorating. In many countries in the region, the number of victims, injured, and people forced to flee their homes is rising. The Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement is increasing its aid efforts, and the Polish Red Cross is appealing for support for those affected.

The Polish Red Cross participated in the European Congress of Local Governments, one of the most important events dedicated to cooperation between local governments, public administration, social organizations, and expert communities in Poland. It served as an institutional partner.

More than 75% of municipalities and 60% of counties in Poland are uncertain about their readiness to respond to crisis situations, while 22.1% of municipal offices and 21% of county administrations openly admit a lack of preparedness – according to the Polish Red Cross think tank report "Implementation of the Population Protection and Civil Defence Act in local government units in Poland".

The 3rd edition of the mini-grant programme for SIM PCK Groups "Together for the Future – Projects that Change the World" has concluded. 13 youth groups from across Poland, carrying out projects based on the UN Sustainable Development Goals, established 61 partnerships and implemented initiatives for climate action, environmental education, and building sustainable communities.
