
New Start
„New Start” is a program of the Polish Red Cross, aimed at providing assistance to refugees from Ukraine in starting their own business in Poland.

Polski Czerwony Krzyż we współpracy z Hiszpańskim Czerwonym Krzyżem realizuje program wsparcia pod nazwą „Nowy Start”.
W odpowiedzi na humanitarne potrzeby ukraińskiej ludności prowadzimy program wspierający gospodarstwa domowe w tworzeniu własnych źródeł dochodu.
Who can participate in the program?
The program is aimed at citizens of Ukraine who:
They are aged from 18 to 65
They have a valid PESEL UKR status
They are registered beneficiaries of the PCK "Livelihood" program
They plan to start a sole proprietorship in Poland
Scope of support
- A grant of up to 17,100 PLN
- Training in business management
Funds from the grant can be used for:
- Purchase of furniture, equipment, vehicles (intended for use in commercial and production purposes) necessary for conducting business activities, licensed software, live inventory and poultry, perennial plantings, seedlings, seeds, raw materials, goods, and services related to the implementation of the business plan.
- Utilization of the rights of other economic entities in business activities (trade license, franchise).
The amount allocated to cover the costs of services and rent must not exceed 25% of the total amount of the grant.
Stages of participation in the program

Participation in mandatory online training.

Submission of a complete application along with a business plan in paper form.

Participation in a video interview with experts.

Signing the grant agreement and starting a business.

Participation with representatives of the PCK in assessing the effectiveness of project implementation.

Livelihoods
Under the "Livelihoods" program, refugees receive extensive support in integration. Its main goal is to increase employment opportunities and improve access to the local labor market for people who left Ukraine as a result of the conflict and temporarily settled in Poland.
Together to Independence
A program dedicated to Ukrainian citizens covered by temporary protection in Poland and living in collective accommodation centers. The activities are aimed at helping them become independent by leaving the centers, using career counseling and participating in integration and adaptation events.
