XXVII International School of Humanitarian Law of Armed Conflicts

The Polish Red Cross is starting recruitment for participation in the XXVII edition of the School of International Humanitarian Law of Armed Conflicts. The course will take place from October 16 to November 16, 2025, in a hybrid format.
The first four sessions will be held online from 3:00 PM to 6:15 PM on the following dates: October 16, October 21, October 24, October 28. The fifth session will take place in person in Warsaw or its vicinity on the dates: November 14-16.

We invite the following to participate in the course:
law, political science, international relations, journalism, and related students who are interested in issues related to armed conflicts;
lecturers and students of military schools, as well as officers;
employees of non-governmental organizations working in the field of international humanitarian law or interested in this topic.
The classes will be conducted by experts and practitioners of international humanitarian law, as well as lecturers from renowned universities and military academies, including the Jagiellonian University, the University of Warsaw, the Naval Academy, and the University of Silesia. Theoretical lectures will be accompanied by discussions. The program will include issues of humanitarian law from the perspective of currently ongoing armed conflicts. The teaching language will be Polish.

Participants who take part in all 5 sessions will receive a diploma of completion of the XXVII School of International Humanitarian Law of Armed Conflicts. The participation form (to be downloaded at the bottom of the page) and a simplified CV should be sent by September 10, 2025, to the email address: miedzynarodowy@pck.pl.
Note: sending an application to participate in the course does not automatically mean participation. We will inform you about the recruitment results by September 16, 2025.
The cost of participation in the course is: 700 PLN gross.
The partners of the course are the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, as well as the ICRC.
