The Polish Red Cross and the Polish Center for International Aid Foundation have signed a partnership agreement with the Ministry of Interior and Administration for the implementation of the project "Together to Independence." The goal of the initiative is to assist Ukrainian citizens under temporary protection in Poland in the process of achieving independence and social integration.
The project provides support for 6,000 people who decide to leave collective accommodation centers and start a more independent life. Assistance will take the form of both financial support and integration activities to facilitate finding oneself in a new environment.
The initiative has been co-financed by the European Commission with the amount of 84,149,255.34 PLN under the "Specific Action MS under pressure - Support for Ukraine" program.
This is another step in the joint action for people who had to leave their homes due to the war. Thanks to the commitment of project partners and EU funds, effective support and building the independence of refugees in Poland will be possible.
