The official opening of the Polish Red Cross Center for Education and Social Integration in Poznań

On May 8 - World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day - the Polish Red Cross opened the Education and Social Integration Center PCK in Poznań at Czeremchowa Street.
This is another PCK Integration Center created with the aim of supporting people who need help in their daily functioning, building relationships, and finding their place in a new environment.
PCK Integration Centers operate in various parts of Poland and support people in more difficult life situations, including those with refugee experience. They combine educational, integration, and social activities in response to the needs of local communities.
The center will be available to:
children and youth,
adults and seniors,
people with refugee experience and their families.
Psychological support, language learning, and integration activities
The Center for Education and Social Integration PCK will provide, among other things:
free psychological assistance,
support in language learning,
vocational counseling,
activities and integration initiatives for children and families.
The new space is intended to meet the specific needs of the residents – providing daily support, opportunities for integration, and space for learning and development.
Joint opening of a new place on the support map
The opening ceremony was attended by:
·Katarzyna Mikołajczyk – General Director of PCK,
Janusz Sibiński – President of the Greater Poland District of PCK,
Hanna Zawadka – Deputy Director of the Social Policy Department of the Greater Poland Voivodeship Office in Poznań,
Maria Krupecka – Deputy Director for Social Policy of the Regional Center for Social Policy in Poznań,
Renata Grudzińska – Deputy Director of the Health and Social Affairs Department of the City of Poznań.
Event participants jointly performed a symbolic ribbon-cutting, officially opening a new place for support and integration on the map of Poznań.
