Requirements for candidates:

  • According to the Law on Supporting Families and the Foster Care System, the candidate must not be deprived of parental authority, and parental authority cannot be suspended or restricted; must fulfill maintenance obligations, and must not have been convicted by a final judgment for a deliberate crime or deliberate fiscal crime;

  • has higher education in pedagogy, psychology, sociology, social work, family science, or in another field whose program includes resocialization, social work, nurturing pedagogy, or

  • has studied in any field, supplemented by postgraduate studies in psychology, pedagogy, family sciences, resocialization, or a qualification course in nurturing pedagogy;

  • has the ability to work in a team and solve educational problems;

  • has computer skills and proficiency in MS Office, including Excel;

  • is characterized by independence, good work organization, communication skills; engagement, creativity, high personal culture, and empathy.

Scope of duties:

  • the manager directs the ongoing activities of the Daily Support Facility of the Polish Red Cross "Wesoła Chatka" for children from dysfunctional families based on the guidelines:

  1. The Social Assistance Act of March 12, 2004, as amended.

  2. The Personal Data Protection Act of May 10, 2018.

  3. The Law on Supporting Families and the Foster Care System of June 9, 2011.

  • provides care for the wards and creates conditions for harmonious development,

  • inspires, coordinates and implements educational and methodological work among the wards aimed at improving the child's school activity, appropriate prosocial and hygiene-nutrition attitudes, and safe behavior;

  • disposes of the funds specified in the financial plan of the facility and accounts for them, bearing responsibility for the entrusted financial resources;

  • organizes the administrative servicing of the facility,  including documentation related to the child's situation and activity logs;

  • searches for sources of funding for the facility's activities;

  • is responsible for the accuracy and correctness of reporting, including statistical reporting of the facility's activities;

  • organizes various educational events utilizing local media and cooperation with local authorities and other institutions;

  • the manager is the direct supervisor of the employed staff at the facility – educators, interns, trainees, volunteers.
