Sharing knowledge and experience is one of the foundations of the Polish Red Cross's activities. Last Wednesday, we had the pleasure of hosting at the Non-Public Primary School and High School named after Stanisław Konarski in Ostrowiec Świętokrzyski.
Education about peace missions and humanitarian law – PCK meeting in Ostrowiec
During the meeting, Mr. Stanisław Dzikowski – a representative of the Polish Red Cross – led a lecture for young people dedicated to peace missions, the role of the UN in maintaining peace, the principles and laws of war, as well as the activities of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement.
The meeting aimed to bring young people closer to the important role that international organizations play in global humanitarian aid and the prevention of armed conflicts. Students actively participated in the discussion, asking questions and sharing their reflections.
