First aid saves lives – statement from our rescuer on TVP3 Kielce

Why do witnesses of accidents not provide first aid? What holds them back? How to overcome fear and react? Michał Krzysiek – a paramedic from the PCK Rescue Group Kielce – answered these questions in a material broadcast on TVP3 Kielce.

Let’s not be indifferent – the first seconds decide someone’s life.

The material also touched on the dramatic story of an accident in Bosowice (buski district), where a random driver saved a victim's life by pulling them from a burning car. This is an example of courage and proper reaction.

Michał Krzysiek reminded that every witness of an accident has not only a moral but also a legal obligation to provide assistance – and those who save lives are covered by legal protection similar to that of public officials.
