Heroes distinguished for saving the lives of many residents of Kielce

On Friday, during a picnic organized at the Voivodeship Office in Kielce, a ceremony took place to present awards to individuals whose bravery and determination contributed to saving the lives of others. The initiative was carried out by the Świętokrzyski Voivode in collaboration with rescuers from the Polish Red Cross Rescue Group in Kielce.
Among the awardees was Katarzyna Kowalska, who reacted promptly by performing CPR on an unconscious woman at the County Starosty in Kielce. Recognition was also given to six residents of Kielce who unhesitatingly assisted in evacuating residents during a fire at the Social Welfare Home.
PCK rescuers emphasized that such attitudes are a role model and a reminder that quick reaction and courage can save human lives. The awards were presented in the presence of families and the local community, creating a unique atmosphere of appreciation and gratitude.
This event demonstrated the enormous significance of civic responsibility and the readiness to act in crisis situations.
