Humanitarian transport with aid for Slovenia

The first transport of the Polish Red Cross has set off to Slovenia.
Today at 7 a.m., a transport from the Polish Red Cross left Lublin carrying aid for the victims of floods and mudslides in Slovenia. We are sending from our own resources: long shelf-life food and essential hygiene articles – with a total value of about 500,000 PLN. The President of the Polish Red Cross, Jerzy Bisek, participated in the night packing. The Humanitarian Aid Group from Lublin was active. The transport is to be handed over to the Slovenian Red Cross. The situation on the ground is dramatic. Half of the country is flooded.
