First Aid for Dogs

We professionally train everyone interested in how to provide first aid to their four-legged friends.

First aid courses for dogs

The aware and quick action of a caregiver can save an animal's life even before veterinary intervention is possible.

In response to these needs, the Polish Red Cross – an institution with long-standing experience in rescue operations – conducts specialized first aid courses for dogs. This comprehensive training lasts 6 teaching hours and includes both a theoretical part and practical exercises on professional dog mannequins.

What do participants of the courses learn?

controlling bleeding

performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) on a dog

responses in the event of choking, seizures or mechanical injuries

Assessment of the animal's health status and provision of assistance until the visit
to the veterinarian

Who leads the courses?

The training is conducted by experienced instructors and allows participants to acquire not only the necessary knowledge but also practical skills and confidence in stressful situations.

We encourage all dog guardians – both those with years of experience and new owners – to participate in the course. Awareness and preparation can save the life of your four-legged friend.

How to enroll in the course?

Currently, courses are being conducted in 3 locations in Poland – in Płock, Gdynia, and Bydgoszcz. To sign up for them, you should contact the selected PCK branch:
