Gold Rush

The annual campaign by the Polish Red Cross (PCK) involves collecting small coins to support children from families in difficult situations. Join us and show that even the smallest gesture can change the lives of the youngest!

About the action

The Gold Rush is an annual campaign organized by the Polish Red Cross, which engages communities across the country to collect gold coins in denominations of 1, 2 and 5 groszy. It lasts from March to June and is aimed not only at providing material aid, but also at promoting the idea of solidarity and social involvement.

As part of the campaign, collections are held in shops, schools and companies. Organizations, institutions and individual donors deliver the collected coins to local branches of the Polish Red Cross. The collected funds are used to support children in difficult life situations, including organizing summer camps, educational activities or purchasing necessary school supplies.

Since the beginning of the Gold Rush campaign, over 3 million złoty has been collected, which has been transformed into real help for children in need.

The Gold Rush is also an excellent opportunity to promote values such as cooperation and helping those in need. Thanks to this campaign, everyone, even with a small payment, can contribute to improving the lives of children who particularly need support.

In Poland, many children live in difficult financial conditions, which often prevents them from meeting basic needs, such as rest, education or warm meals at school. This situation leads to social exclusion and limits their opportunities for development and fulfillment of dreams.

The Gold Rush campaign was created to respond to these challenges. By collecting gold coins, the Polish Red Cross provides support that not only improves the daily lives of children, but also gives them a chance for a better start in adulthood.

Need

In Poland, many children struggle with their families' difficult financial situations. The lack of resources for basic needs, such as recreation, education, or warm meals at school, leads to social exclusion and limits their development opportunities.
