Completion of the task "Cheerful Cottage"

The Zachodniopomorski District Branch of the Polish Red Cross informs that on 31.12.2023 the agreement no. WSS-IV.OKO.9.2023.BR CRU 23/0000166 for the implementation of a public task, referred to in Article 16 paragraph 1 of the Act of April 24, 2003 on public benefit activity and volunteering, entitled: "Conducting day support facilities in the Municipality of Szczecin" concluded between the Municipality of Szczecin and the Zachodniopomorski District Branch of the Polish Red Cross in Szczecin on January 10, 2023.
The activities fulfilling the task were carried out at the PCK Day Support Facility "Wesoła Chatka" where 15 beneficiaries attended.
Children were provided daily care, a warm meal in the form of catering, help with homework, as well as support from a pedagogue, therapist, speech therapist, and psychologist. The staff of the Facility provided children with many psycho-educational and developmental activities and workshops, and also conducted addiction prevention.
During the duration of the task (01.01.2023 – 31.12.2023) a total of 21 children benefited from the Facility's activities.
The task has been fully completed.
We sincerely thank the Municipality of Szczecin for assistance in the implementation of the task and we hope for cooperation next year.
