The training in PGI & Safeguarding at the PCK Integration Center has been completed successfully

On July 25 - 26, 2025, at the Integration Center of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian District Branch of the Polish Red Cross, training dedicated to the topics of PGI (Protection, Gender and Inclusion) and Safeguarding.

PGI – i.e., protection, gender equality, and social inclusion – is an approach that permeates all activities of the Red Cross and Red Crescent Movement aimed at preventing violence, discrimination, and exclusion. Safeguarding, on the other hand, is the care for safety, health, and human rights – especially for children, youth, and adults in difficult life situations.

The training was conducted by Agnieszka Lewandowska – an employee of the Polish Red Cross. The participants of the training were Assistants participating in the ministerial program of the Minister of Family, Labor, and Social Policy "Personal Assistant of a person with a disability" for Non-Governmental Organizations, carried out by the Polish Red Cross.

The sessions combined theoretical parts with practical workshops. At the end, all participants received certificates confirming the skills acquired. 🎓
