First aid training as part of the 'Live with Dignity' program

On Monday, 29.09.2025, a first aid training was held at the headquarters of the Polish Red Cross in Bydgoszcz, organized as part of the program 'Live with Dignity'. This was the first of two planned meetings aimed not only at imparting practical knowledge but also at activating and socially integrating individuals in difficult life situations.

The ability to provide first aid is extremely valuable – regardless of social status, place of residence, or life situation. For people experiencing homelessness, it can have particular significance, as they are often the first to encounter situations that threaten health or life – their own or others'. The training provides them with not only knowledge but also a sense of agency and real influence on their surroundings.

Live with dignity

The program 'Live with Dignity' is a long-term initiative of the Kuyavian-Pomeranian District Branch of the Polish Red Cross, directed at individuals in crisis due to homelessness and those at risk of social exclusion. The project combines material and psychological assistance with activating actions – participants can engage in activities such as distributing clothing or providing organizational support, giving them a chance to rediscover their place in the local community.
