Lecture on blood donation at ZSLIE 1

On March 13-14, 2025, a lecture on blood donation was held at the Vocational and Economic School No. 1 in Warsaw, as always before the event.

Fifth-year (matura) students from 7 classes and fourth-year students from 8 classes, which also include adults, participated.

During the lecture, the rules of blood donation and how to properly prepare for it were discussed. It was reminded that:

Donating blood is safe and does not pose a health risk to the donor.
Before donating blood, it is necessary to have a light meal and drink plenty of water.
It is important to be well-rested and healthy on the day of blood donation.
One should avoid consuming alcohol 24 hours before donating blood.
After donating blood, it is advisable to rest and avoid intense physical exertion.

We thank all students for their active participation and engagement in the lecture. We hope that the knowledge gained will encourage you to take part in blood donation campaigns and help save the lives of others. Thank you for the last campaign and we invite you to the next one.
