„ In bonds of blood” that is 63 days of action by the Polish Red Cross.
We remember the heroes of the Warsaw Uprising.
The Polish Red Cross, the oldest humanitarian organization in Poland, is organizing a nationwide promotional and educational campaign entitled „In bonds of blood”, aiming to honor the memory of the heroes of those days, pays tribute to its historical role during this pivotal moment, as well as support for those in need of blood today.
Duration of the blood donation action:
From August 1 to October 2, 2024, an action for blood donation organized by the PCK will take place throughout the country. Blood can be donated at regional Blood Donation and Hemotherapy Centers and at special mobile points “blood buses”.
The goal of the action “In bonds of blood” is:
to honor all the fallen, deceased, and living Warsaw Insurgents through voluntary blood donation to save human life and health,
to popularize the idea of voluntary blood donation,
to expand the group of voluntary blood donors,
to motivate blood donors to donate blood regularly, especially during the summer period,
to promote voluntary blood donation in social media.
To participate in the campaign, one must donate blood, fill out a survey available under the QR code located on the poster and will also be available on the website www.pck.pl and meet other conditions detailed in the Regulations of the action.
The Presidium of the Mazovian District Council of Honorary Blood Donation in Warsaw appeals to the blood donors of Mazovia to actively participate in the above action.
