“Royal Gift” – a campaign for voluntary blood donation in royal residences
“Royal Gift” is a blood donation campaign organized by the Club of Honorary Blood Donors of the Polish Red Cross “Gift of the Heart” together with the Warsaw royal residences.
In light of the increased demand for blood during the summer period, the Club of Honorary Blood Donors of the Polish Red Cross GIFT OF THE HEART, together with the Warsaw royal residences, is organizing a series of blood donation campaigns for the ninth time under the name ROYAL GIFT.
Blood donations will be accepted between 11:00 AM and 3:00 PM
on July 14 at the Museum of the Palace of King Jan III in Wilanów at the Main Axis (in the forecourt by the ticket offices),
on July 21 at the Royal Castle in Warsaw at the Kubicki Arcades,
on July 28 at the Royal Łazienki Museum near the Myślewicki Palace.
In the ambulances of the Regional Center for Blood Donation and Hemotherapy, you can also register as a potential stem cell donor. During the event, there will be an opportunity to talk about healthy eating, provide first aid, and practice cardiopulmonary resuscitation under the supervision of rescuers from the Polish Automobile Club. Each donor will receive a royal surprise from the museums, gadgets from the sponsors of the campaign, and chocolates.
Polskie Radio is the media patron of the campaign “Royal Gift”, and the Mayors of the Wilanów and Śródmieście districts have taken honorary patronage of the event.
So far we have collected 409 liters of blood from 909 donors and registered 780 potential stem cell donors! This is a great success, and we want to do even more.

Members of the Circle of Honorary Blood Donors of the Polish Red Cross at the Town Hall in Karczew participated on May 25 in the 26th National Pilgrimage of Blood Donors to Jasna Góra in Częstochowa. The motto of this year's pilgrimage was - "Honorary Blood Donors participate in the community of the Church."
