Your responsibilities

  • Promote CVA, build engagement and ownership, and establish effective coordination and communication within the PRC.

  • Advocate for CVA both internally within the different departments and externally with humanitarian actors, the Polish Government and other stakeholders.

  • Development of the PRC CVA plan of action through the self-assessment process.

  • Lead the Implementation of the activities in the CVA plan.

  • Provide technical capacity building to all the relevant staff/volunteers in the NS.

  • Produce monthly update reports against the CVA Plan of Action.

  • Contribute to the development of project proposals to enhance opportunities of funding for CVA actions.

  • Prepare CVA guidelines to organize the step-by-step process of cash implementation within PRC.

  • Establish a system within PRC by developing CVA-related mechanisms, processes, and procedures.

  • Lead the preparation of the plan of action (PoA) of the PRC to ensure the proper rollout of cash preparedness.

  • Adapt and roll out the Cash in the Emergency toolkit (CiE), including those developed and in use by Red Cross Movement Partners.

  • Set up Financial Services Provider (FSP) through the PRC procurement process.

  • Lead the rollout of CVAP capacity-building activities such as training and coaching to ensure high-quality delivery of cash-based assistance.

  • Lead the setup and program design of all cash and voucher distributions.

  • Ensure timely and efficient delivery of all cash and voucher assistance which includes targeting, beneficiary registration, encashment, and monitoring.

  • Work in close collaboration with other relevant technical areas.

  • Work in close collaboration with humanitarian actors, local authorities, and other stakeholders, including established Working Groups and Clusters.

  • Lead the monitoring and evaluation which includes post-distribution monitoring, reporting, and focus group discussions.

 

Our requirements

  • Minimum of five (4) years’ work experience in the public or private sector. Experience working in humanitarian organizations is preferred.

  • Background can be related to social work, finance, international studies, economics, social science etc.

  • Experience in project management is highly desired.

  • Ability to influence decision-makers and advocacy skills.

  • Fluency in English is mandatory.

  • Facilitation skills and public communication skills are highly preferred.

  • Proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel, and basic knowledge of other MS software.
